Agency security
by cirlet

Make the evidence inspectable.

Cirlet · October 22, 2026.

Our security resources should help an agency make a specific decision. Urgency must come with a useful action and an honest account of what is known.

Check the source and the claim.

  1. Prefer dated original advisories and reports. Retain publication dates; a newly discovered old story is not breaking news.
  2. Separate a vulnerability from observed exploitation, and attacker AI use from speculation.
  3. Explain whether an observation comes from a vendor, our own test or a broader study. Do not infer insurance-agency victims without evidence.
  4. Link the supporting source near the claim and explain the agency decision it informs.
  5. State tool limits, unanswered questions and the scope of every test.

Use AI with accountable review.

AI assists with research, drafting, coding and asset production. Generated text and images are not evidence of an attack or a customer outcome. Claims are checked against sources; software behavior is verified separately. We do not represent these resources as independent third-party certification.

Correct material errors.

Email tyler@cirlet.com with the page, the disputed claim and a supporting source. Do not send secrets or client records. Corrected pages should state the material change and date. A silent typo fix does not require a threat to be republished as new.

Research that others can inspect

Before an agency study, publish the method, collection window, consent, sample selection, definitions and exclusions. Report observed counts and sample size. A convenience sample is not the whole industry. Practice exercises cannot establish breach prevention or recovery time.

Threat → action briefing format

Each useful edition should state: what changed; who may be affected; what remains unknown; one action; one evidence question; dated primary sources; and the next review trigger. We publish only when there is a meaningful development. A briefing format is not a monitored alert service.

No email subscription is offered in this release. We will not import contacts or subscribe a reader merely because they downloaded a resource. Use the public briefing archive freely.
